The Divine Service begins Sundays at 9:30 AM at 2145 S. Coronado Drive, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. Adult Bible Study follows at 11:00 AM. The service is also livestreamed.

What should I wear to church?

There is no dress code. Members come in everything from casual clothes to a jacket and tie. Wear what is comfortable and come as you are.

I have never been to a Lutheran service. Will I be lost?

No. The order of service is printed in full in the bulletin and page numbers are announced, so you can follow along from the first minute. You are welcome to simply sit, listen, and observe.

About an hour to seventy-five minutes, including Holy Communion.

Who may receive Holy Communion?

As a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we practice close communion. Communicant members of LCMS congregations and church bodies in fellowship with us are welcome to commune. If you are visiting and would like to receive, please speak with the pastor before the service. All are welcome to come forward for a blessing.

Yes. Children are welcome in the service, and we have a playground on our grounds. Confirmation instruction is offered for youth, and we nurture the faith of our youngest members through Word and Sacrament.

What does LCMS stand for, and how is it different from the ELCA?

LCMS stands for the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. It is a separate church body from the ELCA. The LCMS confesses that Holy Scripture is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and subscribes without reservation to the Book of Concord as a true exposition of that Word.

We confess salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, revealed in Scripture alone. We hold the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds and the Book of Concord. Our full doctrinal confession is on the About page.
