Proposed Constitution & Bylaws Changes
For review by the members of Immanuel Lutheran Church prior to the Voters' Assembly.
This document contains proposed changes to the Constitution and Bylaws of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Any changes recommended must be approved by the congregation at a Voters’ assembly, then sent to Synod for final approval before they become effective. Any changes to the Constitution require a ¾ vote of the members present, and changes to the Bylaws require a 2/3 vote.
This document is provided for you to review the proposed changes prior to the Voters’ meeting. If you have questions or need clarification, the following are members of the Constitution/Bylaw review committee: Lawrence Boutte, Eddie Yarbrough, Wes Hewitt, Pastor George McGuire, Pastor Jim Behnke.
